Revered Tan Singh Ji bought lives by rendering his own in return. He had always been in search of such persons who are worthy enough to attain life, glory and respect to be splurged in the society. He strived throughout his life to create a family where the benevolence of the father, the love of the mother, the grace of the guru, the affection of the sister, the solicitude of the brother, the devotion of the wife, the dedication of the son and all streams of the duties in the life merges. For this, he lived a life of a unique beggar who begs only for the life itself. He wrote down the experiences of his such life in the form of a series of an autobiographical column in Sangh Shakti magazine from March 1961 to December 1962. It was published in the form of a book in 1990 with the title ‘Ek Bhikhari Ki Aatmkatha’ (Autobiography Of A Beggar). It is not a common autobiography but a self expression of a unique personality.
